I got a Fitbit Charge HR for my birthday, and after lots of fiddling finally managed to get in working and syncing with my computer and phone, and linking to the other apps that I have. For example, any exercise I do generates extra calorie allowance that is tagged on to my plan in My Fitness Pal. I am really pleased with this piece of kit, as it helps me keep track of how active (or inactive) I am being, and allows me to monitor my heartbeat and log my exercise.
Here are my stats for yesterday. I actually deferred my official exercise day as I was too knackered when I got home ... and no wonder! We were out doing site visits and it's surprising how far you walk without realising it when you're just out and about.
My achilles tendon is a little sore after all the walking, so I had a hot epson salts bath and then spent the evening with it elevated with an ice pack on ... hopefully it will feel better in the morning.
