French Toast or Eggy Bread?


I am loving the range of yummy food available on the MCP programme. I am not used to cooking breakfast but I love this quick and easy dish. As a kid camping in Yorkshire we knew this as Eggy Bread and it was a savoury dish with a dash of salt and pepper. MCP have made it slightly different as French Toast by adding sugar and cinnamon instead. The recommended accompaniment is fruit and almonds, but I found it a bit dry. This morning I went all out and added a dollop of greek yogurt (low fat of course) and a drizzle of maple syrup ... this is now the most heavenly breakfast.  Yes, it's a few more calories but after today's workout I think I've earned it!
